The Biointerfaces Institute's inaugural sympsosium on April 19 was a success with over 150 attendees. A microposter sesison was organized in conjunction with the Sympoisum by the Biointerfaces Institute Researcher Group, with 55 poster submission. The winners of the microsposter session were:
First place: Cameron Louttit (Moon Group)
Second place: Aqila Ahmed (Keller Group)
Third Place: Yingying Zeng (Kim Group)
The Biointerfaces Institute invites applications for its BI Fellows program. BI Fellows will engaged in interdisciplinary research projects and received a one-year stipend of $55,000 and a $2,000 travel allowance. Applications are due on May 15, 2017.
