UM Invests in BI Startup Greenmark Biomedical


GreenMark Biomedical, Inc., a startup developing starch-based biomaterials for targeted delivery for diagnosis and treatment of tooth decay, will receive $500K in investment from UM. This investment will be through UM’s Michigan Investment in New Technology Startups (MINTS) fund, which is overseen by the Investment Office.GreenMark Biomedical, Inc. holds an exclusive license to technologies that were developed by BI Director and Chemical Engineering Professor,  Joerg Lahann.
