Visualization Lab (VisLab)

The VisLab is comprised of 4 high-end graphics workstations with 4K displays and a 10-ft tiled display wall, all with dedicated high-speed Internet connections.

These workstations accommodate entire data sets so that they may be locally accessed, analyzed, and displayed without the latencies imposed by networks. The VisLab also provides the ability to process and visualize high-resolution, large scale simulation output or experimental data interactively.

Example uses include:

• Visualizing simulation / experimental data
• Interactive data analysis and exploration
• Visualization of real-time simulation results
• Small group discussions around the 10-ft visualization wall
